RMA
Warranty Policy(Revised May. 01,2010)
1. Warranty Period for different products:
Unless printed on the original invoice, Solik provide the following warranty period:
CPU: 30 days with Solik, others with Manufacturer (3 year with Intel or AMD for retail box products,1 year for OEM products)
MEMORY: Life time warranty for Memory of brand name (Kingston, Samsung, Infinion, Hynix, NEC, Micron,), 1 year for OEM memory. (For purchasing after Jan. 1 2004)
MONITOR & PRINTER: 7 days with Solik, others with manufacturer(ASUS, ACER, HP, SAMSUNG, PHILLIP, CANON ECT.)
KEYBOARD,MOUSE & SPEAKER OF LOGITECH AND MICROSOFT: 7 days with Solik, others with manufactures)
ALL PRODUCTS OF LINKSYS is under warranty of manufacture
OTHER products: 1 year warranty from Solik. Others with manufacturer if possible (Seagate HDD: 5 years after July. 2004, Maxtor 3 years after Nov. 2004)
2. Items that are physically damaged, misused or abused by the buyers/users will not be covered by warranty.
3. The discontinued parts or models would be replaced by products with equivalent or better specifications.
All items returned for warranty that are found to be non-defective (or damaged as a result of misuse including static discharge) will be shipped back to the customer collect. A service fee may be applied.
Service Charges
Hourly Labour Rate: $40.00/hour, minimum1/2 hour
Non-defective Items: $20.00 handling fee per item
Non-MMS Product: $40.00 handling fee per item
Administration fee: $10.00 invoice searching per item
4. No warranty on all software
Software and consumables are not returnable once the package is opened.

RMA Procedure
1. Apply RMA Number (CLICK here to download RMA form)
a. Please fill in an RMA form with product name, invoice number, invoice date, serial number and description of the problem for the product's return.
(Note: No RMA number will be issued if the form is not fully completed.)
b. Please fax the form to (514)337-5858 or e-mail to RMA@solik.com
c. A RMA number (14 days valid) will be issued within 2 days by Solik.
2. Ship out the RMA staffs
a. Please ship out the RMA staffs to Solik RMA department,
(Address: RMA Department, 1270 rue Begin, St-Laurent, Quebec, H4R 1X1)
b. Please mark the RMA number clearly on all boxes, or the items will be REFUSED. Please also accompany the return items with the copy of invoice.
c. All items returned must be properly packed to prevent damage during shipping. All products damaged during shipping will be the sole responsibility of the shipper.
d. Except return for credit, please do not ship the accessories with the shipment.
e. Please do not add new items or products to an issued RMA number. Any unauthorized item or product will be refused or the entire shipment may be refused.
f. If the returned items do not match our RMA record, the items cannot be processed and will be returned as freight collect.
3. RMA ready
Solik will test the defective products and will repair, replace or credit the product according to Solik decision.
Promise of RMA ready:
All products of within 7 days purchasing will be replaced as soon as the RMA staff arrive Solik.
Other products: within 14-21 days. Please note that Solik is not responsible for any data lost. Customers are responsible to back-up their data prior to returning any system/hard drive for service.
4. Credit Return Policy
A 15% restocking charge will be applied when an item is returned for credit. NO return for credit will be approved 14 days after the item is purchased.
In some cases, return for credit within 14 days of purchase is provided. Products must be returned in original package and in a re-sellable condition with all associated accessories. Due to the market fluctuation, the amount of credit will be issued according to the market value at the time Solik received the product returned from customer.
